More than 22 years working experience in agriculture, food and nutrition sector in Bangladesh and abroad. Key expertise is described below:
- I have long experiences on dissemination of different technologies such as, agro-meteorological information, climate smart agriculture, climate change adaptation & mitigation, sustainable agronomic & horticultural crop production technology, crop protection technology, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Integrated Crop Management (ICM), Integrated Farm Management (IFM), soil fertility & soil health, varietal introduction, homestead gardening, food & nutrition security, safe food, farm mechanization etc. through demonstration, field day, farmers field school (FFS), training, workshop, seminar, group discussion, motivational meeting, agriculture fair, agriculture rally, motivational tour, field visit, personal contact, campaigning, use of mass media etc.
- I have gathered sufficient knowledge and experiences on safe food including GAP, GHP and GMP. Presently, I have been working on lien/Foreign Service as ‘Horticultural Expert/Advisor’ at European Union funded project named “Improving consumer awareness and access to certified safe tomato and mango products in Bangladesh” implementing by SNV Netherlands Development Organization, Bangladesh. I have been working to focus on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for different supply chain actors as to Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) at farmers’ level, Good Handling Practices (GHP) at farmers, collectors, traders, food processing companies’ level, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at food processing companies’ level.
- I am well experienced on crop production and crop protection through Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Crop Management (ICM) techniques through which use of chemicals is discouraged. I have long experiences & excellent reputation on providing technical advice, supervision, coordination and working closely with farmers for increasing quantity and quality of the product as well as for food safety.
- I have experience and skill in management of donor funded (e.g. FAO, DANIDA, USAID etc.) projects, jointly/closely work with Government & Non-Government officials, social mobilization, liaison with GO/NGOs at Upazila, District and Division level, Local Government bodies etc.
- I have adequate working experiences on Value Chain and Supply Chain. I have received international training in Netherlands and Denmark through which formation and management of farmers’ organization, value chain and supply chain of agricultural products, market linkage etc. have been learned.
- I actively involved in developing strategies to enhance people’s capacity building for poverty reduction, food security, food safety & livelihood security and decision making capacity on planning, organizing, implementing and financing through association formation (Community Based Organization-CBO, Farmers Organization-FO etc.) and skill development.
- I have long experiences to provide technical assistance, support, and oversight to huge number of office staff, partner NGOs and Farmers Organization (FO); to provide frequent guidance to the staff in developing training modules and conducting in country training.

Being Regional Technical Coordinator in DANIDA funded project named “Integrated Farm Management Component (IFMC)” I was Responsible for handling technical, administrative, managerial and financial matters at regional level as DANIDA (donor) representative.

I actively involved in developing project operational plan, budget preparations as per plan, develop terms and references and others necessary papers. - Implementation of a food safety risk assessment in the primary production of tomato and mango for the processing industries.
- Development Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) for mango and tomato growers supplying the food processing sector (with a major emphasis on agro-chemical reduction).
- Selection a rural NGO in Natore and Rajshahi for provision of the tomato and mango growers’ extension support services and planning their implementation activities.
